MICHAEL JASCZ is the founder and director of The Relationship Foundation, and has a degree in Social Sciences from the Honors Program at Ohio State University. Inspired by the work of renowned relationship experts Harville Hendrix and John Welwood, he has been giving presentations and workshops on relationships since 2002 and is dedicated to bringing a new awareness about relationship dynamics. During the 2008-2009 school year he developed the Healthy Relationships 101 curriculum at a top-rated public high school in New York City. Michael’s goal is to make Healthy Relationships a component of the educational process.
REBECCA KUHN, Curriculum Developer and Instructor. Rebecca is a high school teacher in a New York City public school. She co-taught the Healthy Relationships 101 curriculum with Michael Jascz in two of her English classes during the 2009-2010 academic year. She is currently working to further develop the curriculum and design innovative new programs. Rebecca graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Education from Pace University. She serves as the president of an educational honors society at Pace University. Throughout her four years of experience in the New York City public school system, Rebecca has seen how Healthy Relationships 101 helps to support social and emotional intelligence.
STEPHANIE DOOLEY, R&D, Editor. Stephanie has been with The Relationship Foundation since its inception, taking on various roles within the company to ensure its continued progress. She currently is working on research and development, aiming to constantly improve the content and quality of the curriculum for the upcoming academic year. A graduate of Boston College with a degree in Political Science, Stephanie is now on a path to pursue her doctorate of medicine.
MIA BLACK is the Director of Operations at The Relationship Foundation. After graduating from American University with a degree in Psychology, Mia has worked in the non-profit sector for over four years. Her experience includes working with refugees, runaways, and teens in foster care. She is passionate about working to improve the lives of others by creating social awareness and fostering communication, especially through the arts.VERONICA KRANTZ, Curriculum Development, Outreach, and Fundraising. She is a senior at Barnard College at Columbia University, studying pre-med and majoring in psychology. At the university she is on a facilitation team that teaches consent culture to incoming freshmen students. She is a panelist member of the university wide Sexual Assault Student Disciplinary Council. She has spent the last seven years volunteering in various hospitals. This summer she is an intake counselor at The Door, a Center for alternatives for at-risk youths. She is passionately pursuing a career as a therapist in clinical psychology, and plans to incorporate the principles of Healthy Relationships 101 into her work.
